PRESIDENT MESSAGE

The Perspective – “2022” January 2022 Edition

Its not about the elimination of fear. Rather, it’s about the elimination of the feeling that the elimination of fear is necessary before we take the next step.
Craig D. Lounsbrough

Welcome to New Year 2022

As we begin to take steps to determine our next course of actions for the coming year, please be mindful that some things may have shifted in a different direction, as moving through the past year may have contributed to bumps along the way. In time it will take a few minutes to get to the path, so please remain steadfast with hope. Be joyful as you proceed.

Every start of a new thing temps us to go forward with anxiety, even our passions that we work so hard to pursue. These thoughts are not because we are afraid of them, but not doing well or failing. We look at the length we must go with any given task with utter dismay and lack of confidence. New beginnings are a time for opportunities, and one to strive more for a successful outcome than drawing backwards. The need to join alliances and helping others fulfill common goals, especially for communities as they are the backbone for any society to prosper. However, this requires patience and determination to methodically approach each endeavor with a zeal.

So, how does this relate to MUD’s, particularly ours here in District 304? We have committed to addressing many issues to improve our quality of life, as it is our Mission Statement, yet at the same time it is in cooperation. We have taken bold steps in how the District is managed……one for instance, having a vision to think creatively unconventionally, to catapult us into the century with innovation. It undoubtedly will necessitate a devoted Team across the Board……literally and figuratively. It also means aspirations on the part of those whom we have chosen talents to embark it with us……most primary the latter, as were previously.

Therefore, In Faith, we will succeed Ladies and Gentlemen of Harris County MUD 304, “The District” – Patience, Patience, Patience. We look forward to sharing with you again. On the next “The Perspective”- Black History Month Celebrated.

“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used to create them.”
